That authentic surfboard feel

The Mako Slingshot jet board captures that feeling of carving big flowing turns and driving rail to rail hacks even when the water is flat. The carbon fibre hull has an authentic surfboard feel blending the characteristics of traditional surfboard design and modern performance. The outline is narrow at the nose and fuller through the tail, with extra width on the hip before the fins to increase planning efficiency and to help tighten those turns. The higher nose kick and wider hip opens up the transition point to the bottom curve optimizing the connection with the water, offering stability and drive.

Once up on your feet, you will start to feel the lift generated by the flat planes of the angled-V bottom, ensuring that you’re able to make some serious ground right from the start. The increase in tail rocker, and extension of the harder boxier rail length gives the Mako a lovely loose feeling, which is great for throwing down carving turns. The tri-fin thruster setup has been a favorite for the past quarter century and combines speed, precision and control in a range of conditions. On the water this translates to greater maneuverability and stability so you can surf with complete confidence.

The ergonomic handheld throttle puts all the control right in the palm of your hand and acts as a safe, secure link between you and your Mako jet board. Engine ignition is at the touch of the conveniently placed button, simplifying the start-stop procedure both on land and when out on the water. Pull back Mako’s intuitive trigger control to accelerate with ease, propelling your jet board from leisurely cruise to pulse-pounding speeds in seconds. Should you fall off or get separated from the board, the safety shut-off pin instantly stops the engine by cutting the ignition.

TOOL-LESS FIN SYSTEM

With the Mako fin system it’s possible to install and remove your fins in seconds without the need for any screws or tools, so you’ll be out on the water faster. The Mako fin system gives you more control and response from your jet board, and that equates to better surfing.

Whether left foot forward or right, Mako offers you versatile control. Easy adjustment foot straps provide a solid connection between you and your jet board for active handling when carving turns. The plug-and-play battery pack eliminates power-related downtime, maximising your time out on the water. RAPID-FILL FUEL TANK

The readily-placed external filler cap safeguards against injury by removing combustible fuel away from any hotspots ensuring greater safety and practicality when heading out on the water.
